This is not really recommended for your custom football helmets. This is because; a sanding block is flat whereas a custom football helmet doesn’t have any flat spots. Usage of sanding block in order to sand your custom football helmet would create flat spots and ridges all over the helmet surface.
How else can Sanding be done on your Custom Football Helmet?
Instead of using a sanding block or air-powdered sander, you can sand your custom football helmet more effectively with the help of your hands and fingers more than anything else. Thus, it is advisable that all the sanding and polishing should be done with your hands.
